Oregon Daily Emerald
The Oregon Daily Emerald has been the official lifestyle magazine for university students, faculty, and staff since 1900, delivering daily news and marketplace information to students, faculty, staff, alumni, and the surrounding communities Monday-Friday throughout the school year and weekly in the summer. An online version is also available at dailyemerald.com.
As a 501(c) (3) nonprofit organization, the Emerald Publishing Company’s stated mission is to train University of Oregon students in all aspects of journalism by publishing the daily newspaper, which employs more than 150 students each year.
